Decorating Christmas Cookies- 2nd annual

Clark, Grant(left) and Aiden(right)

Yesterday we headed to Madison to Decorate Christmas cookies with the Wilson side of the family. This is the 2nd year we have done this and will continue our tradition moving forward. The kids really look forward to getting together, we try and get the little ones together a few times a year. As we all grew up getting together for Christmas, the 4th of July and one other time of year, we are hoping our kids will enjoy seeing each other as much as we do. We headed to Aunt Dara's, Clark and the boys met us there. I brought the cookies, Dara had the sprinkles and frosting all ready to go. All Nick could talk about was the cookies, the kids and the basement. Dara has a playroom in the basement and he wanted to play in the basement, he was at there house a year ago and remembered playing with Isaac and Lily in the basement. I fear what else he remembers from the past year. The kids really got into the cookie decorating and of course eating, until about the 10th cookie. Then we all looked up to find no kids and all parents decorating the cookies. Made me think, do we do this for the kids for for us??? Does it matter, it is great memories for all. Next week we head to Delavan for our Wilson Family Christmas on Saturday and on Sunday we have Nick's 3rd Birthday Party..
Our baby is 3, where did the time go????
